How do we nominate village heroes to help build a Community of Lifesavers?

In an emergency when every second counts, these individuals can bridge the gap and boost survival rates

As we navigate through the challenges of our times, it has become increasingly evident that community strength and preparedness are paramount. At The INS Group, we believe that every individual has the potential to make a significant difference, especially during critical moments.

Medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrests, can occur unexpectedly. Often, the difference between life and death is measured in mere seconds. While emergency responders do their utmost to reach the scene promptly, there can be unavoidable delays. This is where our community can step in and bridge the gap.

We invite village managers to nominate individuals within your village – be it staff or residents – who possess a current first aid certificate and/or have undergone defibrillator training. These individuals, willing to respond in the event of an emergency, will be our village heroes, our community of lifesavers.

Why is this initiative crucial?

  1. Every Second Counts: In medical emergencies, especially cardiac arrests, timely intervention can drastically improve survival rates.
  2. Empowering Our Community: By recognizing and utilizing the skills within our community, we not only enhance safety but also foster a sense of unity and empowerment.
  3. Building a Safety Net: With a network of trained individuals spread across our villages, we can ensure that help is always nearby.

How can you participate?

  1. Nominate: Identify individuals within your village who have the requisite training and are willing to assist during emergencies.
  2. Inform: Share this initiative with your village community, encouraging those with training to come forward.
  3. Connect: Provide us with the details of the nominated individuals by adding their details into your village response protocols via the Manager’s Portal. This will provide our LifeGuard clinical staff the ability to call those nominated and potentially ask them to attend and assist whilst waiting for emergency responders to arrive.

Our aim is simple – to build a community of lifesavers. Together, we can ensure that our villages are not just places of residence but also sanctuaries of safety and care.

Thank you for your continued dedication and commitment to our community. Let's work hand in hand to make our villages safer and stronger.
