What is the function of the handset on the IP Dialler?

The handset on your INS LifeGuard IP Dialler was originally provided for clients using our optional INS Telephone Service, which is no longer available. Since the device isn’t connected to a traditional phone line, the handset cannot function as a telephone today.

For testing or during an alarm, please do not pick up the handset. It’s important that the unit’s speakerphone is used to verify functionality. In an emergency, if you can’t reach the handset, you can still communicate with us and receive assistance.
