What if I wish to move the unit within my residence?
Moving your device is generally not recommended by INS unless something has changed at your home. If the reception is not the best where the alarm system is, moving it somewhere else, generally close to a window, may help and fix some of the issues.
If you do move the device, please push the button and give it a test in its new location to ensure that the Alarms are able to be sent through to INS clearly. INS also recommends performing a new range test to ensure that everything is still working the way it should.
