How can I be sure the system is working?

The two things to be aware of with your Personal Alarm are:

  1. Regular Testing
  2. Report any changes in your system

Regular Testing

Regular testing can help you ensure that your system is working. INS recommends testing your Alarm every month by pushing the button that you wear and letting an Alarm go all the way through to the Nurses at INS LifeGuard and letting them know you are testing.

If you are worried about the bothering the Nurses, don't be! We love to have a quick chat, and we are here to help you, which includes your peace of mind.

Changes in your System

Any changes that occur in your system could potentially indicate an issue or could be normal and it was something that you didn't notice before but letting INS know of a change can allow issues to be fixed before they become an actual problem.

If there is anything you notice that you believe may have changed, or something you aren't 100% sure on, and just want to clarify, please do not hesitate to contact us on 1800 636 226 and speak to our friendly team.
