# Charging and battery care for your LifeGuard SmartTracker V2

## A guide to charging and caring for your SmartTracker V2 battery, including charge times and safety tips.

### **Charging the SmartTracker**

1. Place the tracker on the **docking station**.
2. Connect the **USB** cable to the dock and plug it into power.
3. The **red LED on the SmartTracker** blinks while charging and stays **solid** when fully charged.

### **First-time setup**

- Charge for **6–7 hours** before first use.

### **Battery care**

- Do not leave the device on charge for **more than 24 hours**.
- Remove from the dock once fully charged.
- Failure to follow charging guidelines may damage the battery.
