      How to install the INS LifeGuardian® app and widget on your Smartwatch

      You'll need to have already installed and registered the app on your phone before proceeding with the steps below.

      If you’re using an Android Wear OS smartwatch and have the INS LifeGuardian® app on your phone, you can extend the functionality to your smartwatch for easy access and additional service options. Follow the steps below to get started.

      Note: Apple Watch users do not need to install the app separately, as the iPhone and Apple Watch automatically sync the installation.

      Installing the Watch App

      1. Open the INS LifeGuardian® app on your phone.

      2. Tap Settings, then scroll down and select Tutorials.

      3. Choose Add alarm widget on your Watch (Wear OS).

      4. Tap Install watch app at the bottom of the screen.

      5. To complete the installation, press the Install button that should now appear on your watch.

      Adding the Widget to Your Watch Face

      Once the app is installed, you can add the alarm widget to the watch face for quick access:

      1. On your Wear OS device, press and hold on the watch face.

      2. Tap Complications or Widgets (this may vary depending on your watch model).

      3. Select the INS LifeGuardian® alarm widget and place it on your watch face.

      This short video tutorial showing how to add the widget is also accessible on the Tutorial Screen of your phone, as mentioned in Step 4 above.

      That’s it! Your watch is now set up with the INS LifeGuardian® alarm widget, allowing you to trigger an emergency alarm right from your wrist.
